The Habitat for Humanity of Dane County site visit will provide participants with an opportunity to explore how innovative, community-based housing organizations are advancing affordable homeownership, neighborhood revitalization, and long-term economic stability across the Midwest. And will include a visit to the ReStore!

Through this visit, participants will gain insight into Habitat's holistic approach to housing. Discussions will highlight opportunities for credit unions and community development partners to collaborate with organizations like Habitat to expand access to homeownership, strengthen financial resilience, and meet evolving community needs. 

The experience will reinforce key themes of the regional convening by showcasing practical, place-based strategies that support thriving communities, foster long-term wealth creation, and create meaningful impact for current and future generations. Participants will leave with actionable ideas for leveraging partnerships, community investment, and innovative housing solutions to advance economic well-being throughout the Midwest.
